Mumbai: The second season of web series The Family Man starring Manoj Bajpayee is likely to release on Amazon Prime Video in February.
Amazon Prime’s official Twitter account uploaded a picture of a time bomb reading ‘2021’ as time on Tuesday.
“Don’t know about the timer here, but we’re exploding with excitement,” the Twitter post read.
Bajpayee, who stars as intelligence officer Srikant Tiwari in The Family Man series, shared the poster on Instagram.
“The wait is over. This is our New Year’s gift for you. Open it carefully,” he wrote.
A press release from Amazon Prime Video said Srikant (Bajpayee) and J.K. Talpade, essayed by Sharib Hashmi, will take on a deadlier mission in the second edition of the series.
The cast includes Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar and Shreya Dhanwanthary.
The first season featured Gul Panag, Neeraj Madhav, Kishore Kumar and Pawan Chopra.
The filming for the second edition of The Family Man, which marks the digital debut of Telugu star Samantha Akkineni, wrapped up in March.
