Chennai: Annaatthe, starring Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, is set to release on 4 November, the makers said on Monday.
Production house Sun Pictures announced the movie, which also stars Keerthy Suresh and Nayanthara, will hit the screens during Deepavali.
“#Annaatthe will be releasing on November 4th, 2021! Get ready for #AnnaattheDeepavali!” a tweet on the production banner’s Twitter handle read.
The movie, directed by Siva, was earlier set to be released during Pongal holiday in January.
Production was halted in December after four of the crew tested positive for COVID-19 on location in Hyderabad.
Rajinikanth tested negative for the disease but was admitted to a hospital following fluctuation in blood pressure.
Annaatthe also stars Meena, Khushbu and Prakash Raj in major roles.
