Los Angeles: Star Wars spinoff The Mandalorian was the most pirated TV show of 2020 via BitTorrent, an analysis by TorrentFreak said.
The show on Disney+ was the most popular of most-torrented shows last year, IndieWire reported based on statistics on BitTorrent trackers.
Game of Thrones, HBO’s fantasy drama, that concluded its eighth season in May 2019 was for years the most pirated show.
The Mandalorian, which finished its second season on 18 December, was the third most torrented show in 2019.
Prime Video’s superhero series The Boys was in second spot while HBO’s Westworld was at number three.
The TorrentFreak survey accounts for BitTorrent traffic that forms just a fraction of piracy online.
