Hyderabad: Apollo hospital, where superstar-turned-politician Rajinikanth was admitted following severe blood pressure fluctuation, was on Sunday discharged, hospital officials said.
Apollo Hospitals said Rajinikanth’s blood pressure has normalized. “In view of his improved condition, he has been discharged,” a bulletin from Apollo Hospitals said.
The actor, who is set to launch his own political outfit next month, has been advised bed rest for a week with steady checks on his blood pressure nd told to keep stress at bay in view of his post-transplant status, hypertension, besides age.
The 70-year-old actor was admitted to the hospital on Christmas day with hypertension and exhaustion.
Rajinikanth was in Hyderabad since December 13 for the shoot of his next venture Annaatthe, under Sun Pictures.
