Kozhikode: The BJP on Thursday said ‘Metroman’ E Sreedharan will join the party ahead of Kerala Assembly elections.
BJP state chief K. Surendran said Sreedharan, who is credited with changing the face of the public transport system in India, will join the party during the ‘Vijay Yatra’ beginning February 21 from Kasaragod.
Sreedharan has expressed willingness to work with BJP, Surendran told reporters.
There was no immediate reaction from Sreedharan.
